Weight Watchers.

As I mentioned yesterday, I have rejoined weight watchers online (I’ve never been one for meetings!) and I have also ordered a bunch of related books on ebay to help me with this whole kick start thing rather than going at it blind.  Today’s menu plan looks like this…

Breakfast: 2 Weetabix with Skimmed Milk, Small glass orange juice

Lunch: 1 poached medium egg, 1 low fat pork sausage, 2 rashers healthy living bacon, 1 small can of spaghetti hoops (I hate beans!) followed by one jaffa cake

Dinner: A stuffed chicken breast with 40g wafer ham, 25g philadelphia light with chives served with a medium jacket potato, carrots and leeks.

Snacks: 1 weight watchers chocolate brownieTotal:  18.5 points

I am really really motivated now. I think whatever clicked in 2002 when I first lost 4 stone has clicked again.  My boyfriend is going away for the weekend to Spain (I won’t see him until Monday now) so I am hoping to report back a decent weight loss this week!My only worry is that my best friend is coming for the weekend and she might want to eat badly…  which I definitely don’t want to do!  Anyway, I think it might be a good idea to set a mini goal rather than just the big picture and considering today is the 2nd day of the plan and the 2nd of July it makes it pretty easy to set a goal.   I need to lose 2 stones in 2 months, like I vowed I would to my boyfriend.  Is this possible?  I have no idea… so by September 1st I need to weigh 189 pounds (13 stone 4)Help!

Back on Track.. I think.

I’m becoming increasingly more upset with every single comment my new boyfriend makes about my weight.  Every single day he complains about my lack of training, my bad eating pattern and the fact that I could do so much better.  He told me that I wasn’t going on holiday with him this year unless I lost 2 stones in 2 months…  but he doesn’t think I will ever do it…So I have set out to prove him wrong!  I have started a healthy eating plan again – back on weight watchers but this time I am on their kick start for 2 weeks which involves eating 3 points for breakfast, 5 for lunch and 8 for dinner with 2 for snacks.  This means that instead of eating 24 points a day, I will be on  18 a day for 2 weeks.  This is supposed to kick your metabolism into shape and reports of up to half a stone have been made.   After that I go back to my regular allowance and this time I am going to do it properly… after all I did it once before, I can do it again! So today’s menu plan…

Breakfast: 40g Cornflakes with Skimmed Milk and a small glass of orange juice

Lunch:  40g wafer thin ham, 15g grated half fat cheese in a flour tortilla wrap with sliced cucumber, red pepper and spring onion

Dinner: Home made beef stroganoff with diced beef, mushrooms, onions and paprika.  Served with a spoonful of low fat fromage frais stirred through, 60g uncooked rice and green beans. Dessert of a weight watchers chocolate mousse.

Snacks: 2 Jaffa Cakes

I have also started my wii fit weight loss challenge… so stay tuned to both diaries to keep up to date with my life and my results!

Haven’t started the diet yet.

Well I know I should have started by now but money is tight and i’m carless at the moment so getting food shopping is a little difficult.  I have a printed list of all the food I need to buy from tesco I just need to get there and do it.  This weekend I haven’t eaten too badly food wise but I have drunk copious amounts of alcohol.  My new boyfriend cooked me an amazing dinner on Friday which consisted of chicken breasts slices in half and stuffed with fresh mozzerella and basil leaves.  Over the top of the chicken he poured a piri piri sauce and threw the whole lot in the oven for near on an hour.  Served with rice and broccoli I will definately be eating that again!I was a little naughty and weighed early to see if the alcohol has had any effect.  I weighed 14 stone 13!  Talk about amazed.  I am under a lot of stress right now so i’m not sure if that has contributed but keep going like this and I will be 14 stone within a month (fingers crossed!)  Until next weigh in people x

The dreaded weigh in….

Last night I spent an enjoyable evening talking to one of my friends who seems to always put me in a better mood once I’ve talked with him.  We were talking a lot about the way I am feeling and my weight in general and he said to me that if it’s something I want that badly, I can make it happen.   I haven’t been that sensible recently in that I have gone for periods of up to 48 hours without eating and after eating a big meal making myself sick.   I know this is dangerous and won’t work and that I need to stop it so I opened up to him and came clean about everything.I feel a lot more positive this morning and I even stepped on the scales to see 15 stone 2.  I can’t remember the last time I was under 15 stone but I’m going to make it my mission to get there.  I joined tesco diets last night to get some recipe ideas so stay posted!

Haven’t weighed yet….

I overslept.  Poor excuse I know but before I knew it, it was evening and I like to weigh first thing in the morning… every little lb helps!

I will be weighing in the next couple of days so stay posted.  My new boyfriend has offered to personal train me involving thousands of sit ups and some pretty grueling exercises that we tried out last night.  He reckons I can lose up to 2 stone in 7 weeks doing these workouts…  so we shall see!   I think I might do my 7 days of juicing again.  This time it should be relatively easy but I will need to go and buy all my provisions soon!

I’ve made the decision to weigh….

First thing tomorrow morning I am weighing.  I am shit scared too!  I have got a new man who I care for a lot and he is one of the athletic type guys who girls like me drool over.  Anyway, I want to look good naked so I am going to finally put this challenge to rest and do it.So tomorrow morning expect a new post from me with my weight.  I’m not sure I really want to admit to it but it’s about time I did!

Winter Colds and Christmas.

Hi everyone.  I’m sorry I haven’t been around a while – I have had a pretty rough couple of months with a bad cold / chest / ear infection.  Yes, it’s that time of the year again!  Anyway I think I am getting much better now and I even went back to the gym last week.An awful lot has changed in my situation.  I have moved house, in with my ex boyfriend (we bought it as friends) but things aren’t working out because I’m seeing someone new.  My new man likes me just the way I am too but I am still on my little crusade to get smaller.  The new problem i’m facing is that although i’m not eating that much and not as much chocolate I have replaced it with alcohol and going out partying.  Empty calories really but I do enjoy a drink now.I hope to keep you guys updated with my progress as I finally win the battle of the bulge.  I haven’t weighed myself in months now but my jeans are slightly loose so I am hoping I am around the same as last time.  I’m a bit scared to weigh if I am honest!
